we spent the weekend building a bookcase .. well, lori was the carpenter and i was the gopher but we had a good time! tonight, finally, we'll unpack our books.

i ordered a rug for the study .. i'm totally stoked and ready for it to come in. we're planning a trip to ikea to look for a colorful, comfy chair, a small table, and possibly two new desk chairs.

we really enjoyed church, yesterday. J, i thought of you.. i'm going to buy this series when it comes out - it's called the elephant in the room. it's a series on families - mostly parenting and immediate family relationships but yesterday's subject was conflict - where it comes from, how to deal with it, how each person has their own reactions/solutions, etc. they kicked it off with the song, we can work it out. lori looks at me with a huge smile, i've never been to a church where they sang the beatles!. made her day.
